App licence
Last updated: October 21, 2026
This licence agreement is between you and WebXpansion, SARL, publisher of Motion Studio. By installing or using the app, you accept it.
1. What you can do
WebXpansion grants you a free, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and use Motion Studio on your computers, for personal or professional use, including to create commercial videos.
2. What you cannot do
Unless expressly permitted by law, you may not:
- copy, modify, decompile or disassemble the app, or try to extract its source code;
- sell, rent, lend, sublicense or redistribute the app or a modified version of it;
- bypass its protections, limits or checks;
- remove copyright, trademark or licence notices.
3. Ownership
The app is licensed, not sold. WebXpansion and its partners remain the owners of the app, its name, logo and content.
4. Third-party components
Motion Studio contains third-party software and models (including FFmpeg, under the GPL), subject to their own licences, listed in Third-party licences. Those licences apply to those components and are not limited by this agreement: you may exercise all the rights they give you.
5. Updates
The app may update automatically to fix issues, improve security or add features. This agreement also applies to updates.
6. Warranty and liability
The app is provided free of charge, as is. To the extent permitted by law, WebXpansion does not guarantee that it will work without interruption or errors, and is not liable for indirect damages or data loss. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Termination
You can end this licence at any time by uninstalling the app. It ends automatically if you don't comply with this agreement; you must then stop using the app.
8. Governing law
This agreement is governed by French law (see section 14 of the Terms of use).
